checking the mail
Sometimes we take a twenty minute break to walk down and check the mail. We loop back via the Trans-Canada trail that runs through our property and cut across by our big, red barn to complete the circle. I treasure this short walk because I spend so much time working in front of the computer. It’s a time-out, a space in our day to share our thoughts or to walk quietly alongside one another. It’s a time of noticing. The wind, the feel of the ground underfoot, the colour of the sunset, new growth, changing seasons. I feel lucky to have these quiet moments but feel even luckier because of who I get to share them with.
Love this , you have a beautiful way of looking at the world and life.
