a walk down the trail

It’s a quiet day here on the farm. It’s not quite warm, not quite cool. It’s not sunny but it’s not really cloudy either. It’s an in between sort of day which suits my mood on this holiday Monday. I’m bouncing between projects and finishing nothing. Dave said, “Let’s walk down to the beaver pond.” I didn’t really feel like it, but I didn’t feel like doing anything else either. So I tagged along. We only made it to the river on account of the bugs but as usual, I’m glad to have gone on this small adventure. These two furry fools never fail to put a smile on my face and in my heart.

  • Fun to be following your walk and see you pass the house where I grew up. I met Paddie one summer but could not have caught the name….lots of folk called my Dad Paddie (tho’ we used the Paddy) and he used to have the Store at Meadowville. Will follow your blog and Harrier Hill with interest.
