Have we really not blogged since the end of March? Wow. That’s a long time. We’ve tried to blog more regularly before but now we have a plan. You can count on something new and delightful every Monday, Wednesday and Friday with some extra posts thrown in here and there for good measure. We’ve heard from some of you (you speak, we listen!) that you’re disappointed when we don’t keep updating the blog because you’ve come to love us and all our four-legged friends SO dearly… Okay, maybe you didn’t say that exactly, but still, we heard you. And here we are! If three times a week isn’t enough to satisfy your Harrier Hill cravings, follow along for a dose of daily farm awesome on instragram.
It’s Thursday! Which means it’s time to throw things back to a favourite time and memory. (Yes, that’s what #tbt means if you’ve seen it around!). 18 months ago I traveled to Scotland to visit my very best friend who lives on the Isle of Skye. It is jaw-dropping, stunningly beautiful there. Elaine lives with her husband and three gorgeous children in, what I like to think of, a magical world of soaring cliffs, swirling wind and mischievous fairies. Every time you turn a corner, your breath is taken away by the sheer vastness and beauty of Skye’s landscape. I was mostly there to visit Elaine so I didn’t take nearly as many landscape photos as I took of her day to day life (which you can see here with oodles of pictures of our sweet goddaughter Peigi!). But here are a few I did manage to snap. Let me tell you, they don’t even come close to capturing the astounding beauty of seeing it in real life. I’m looking forward to going back for a visit in just under three weeks!
