our paddie

Sometimes I feel a little guilty about posting so many photos of Slipper and barely any of Paddie. There’s a very good reason for this – Slipper stands still. Paddie? Not so much. It’s a rare thing to see her stay in one spot for longer than a second. Or even 1/100th of a second which is really all I need! I often go outside with the express intent of photographing sweet Paddie and often come inside defeated.

Until now. How could I not realize that the perfect picture bait for Paddie is good old fashioned love? She’s a sucker for a snuggle as you can plainly see. Offer Paddie a scratch behind the ears and she’s all yours –  leaning into your legs, eyes squinting closed, tail wagging.

I love these photos. They make my heart feel all burst-y. ♥
